Find Sevier County Court Calendar

Start with the right case and the right court. Once you have those, match the newest public setting against the notice in the file. That comparison is the surest way to find a Sevier County court date. The Sevier County court calendar is built from case events, filed notices, court schedules, and instructions from the assigned court itself. Circuit and District Court settings also move through separate channels. A repeating calendar pattern can offer a hint, but it never overrides the date set for one case. Resets happen, room details drop out, and protected cases stay off the public list, so confirm anything urgent with the clerk or the assigned court office.

The Sevier County Court Calendar

Sevier County has no standalone daily-docket database that the public can search. The county's Circuit Court Schedule page lists courthouse hours, not case-by-case settings. To build a working Sevier County court calendar search, start with Search ARCourts Case Events, then check the annual or administrative-plan schedule, the filed notice or order in the case, the assigned division's clerk or court office, and finally the courthouse docket.

Each link in that chain answers a different question. The annual plan shows recurring court blocks. Search ARCourts shows public events entered for a case. The notice tells you what the court actually filed and served. A direct instruction can account for a late change. So never stop at an old event row or a broad county schedule when you need a firm date.

Sevier Calendar Sources Compared

Search ARCourts splits filings apart from scheduled events. Case Events may list a date, time, event label, room, location, and judge. Docket Entries may hold a Notice of Hearing, an order, a continuance, or a reset. Look at both parts of the docket. The event row is fast to scan. The filed document often explains what changed and which terms now apply.

Whatever the court currently instructs controls. A schedule pattern is a useful check, yet it cannot cancel a special setting set for one case.

How to Find Your Court Date

Begin with the case number or citation whenever you can. Similar participant names cause mixups, and the number avoids them. Next, confirm the result points to Sevier County. Then check the right Circuit or District Court location. A filed event can shift after a continuance. Rely on the newest entry rather than the first date that shows up.

  1. Search the case or citation in Search ARCourts and verify the county, court level, case type, and status.
  2. Open Case Events. Record the future date, time, event type, room or location, and judge.
  3. Read nearby Docket Entries for a hearing notice, order, continuance, or reset, including any public linked image.
  4. Compare a District setting with the recurring administrative-plan pattern or a Circuit setting with the annual schedule.
  5. Call the responsible clerk or court office if dates conflict, the room is blank, or a reset is recent.
  6. Visit the clerk's counter or ask about a courthouse docket when the event is not available online.

The Circuit Clerk can be reached at 870-584-3055. For District Court, chief clerk Tracy Miner is at 870-584-7311, and the court's number is 870-642-3002. On Circuit settings, the assigned division's coordinator often holds the most current schedule.

Sevier Tuesday Calendar Split

The 36th Judicial District plan separates City of De Queen cases from Sevier County cases. City traffic and criminal matters usually land on the second Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. County traffic and criminal matters usually land on the fourth Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. County and city civil or small-claims matters normally use the third Wednesday. The time is 10:00 a.m.

People misread this split often. The second and fourth Tuesdays are two different docket groups. They are not two options for the same case. Always check the citation or case. Does it belong to the city docket or the county docket? The judge can move any recurring date. The printed citation or filed notice still matters most. The district plan publishes no video or teleconference calendar.

Quick check: Match the court and docket group before using a recurring Tuesday or Wednesday schedule.

Reading a Court Setting

Read each Sevier County court calendar row as a set of fields. The date alone tells you little. Time separates a morning session from a later one. Room and location show where the event sits. An event label names the setting, whether arraignment, pretrial, jury trial, bench matter, or hearing, and the judge field routes your confirmation call.

DateThe scheduled day for the event, subject to a later order or reset.
TimeThe listed start time, which must be read with the current court instruction.
RoomThe courtroom or assigned room when entered.
LocationThe courthouse or court site associated with the event.
JudgeThe judicial officer shown for that event.
Setting TypeThe purpose, such as arraignment, pretrial, trial, review, or hearing.

An empty field is a reason to verify, not an invitation to guess. The court can give you details that have not yet reached the public view.

Sevier Traveling Circuit Calendar

Sevier County is one stop on the Ninth West Judicial Circuit. Howard, Little River, and Pike Counties join it. Two judges rotate through those counties on alternating weeks. Each county normally sees them at least twice per month. The circuit is regional. A settings schedule depends on division calendars. A judge's published chambers may sit well outside De Queen.

The printed circuit calendar for the year usually comes out around September. It lays out blocks for drug court, divorces, probate, juvenile matters, criminal arraignments and pretrials, jury trials, and nonjury work. Division 1 criminal jury trials land in even-numbered months. Division 2 takes the odd-numbered ones. Civil jury trials get placed around conflicts by the presiding judge.

For court contacts, the official trial-court administrator directory lists each administrator for the circuit.

An administrator can confirm a division's schedule in minutes. For any single hearing, the filed Sevier case event remains the key court record.

Resets, Continuances, and Cancellations

A reset or continuance shifts a Sevier County setting to a new date. The old event often stays in the history anyway. So the oldest row pointing at the future is not always the live one. Read the later entries before trusting it. Look for a notice, order, continuance, or reset filed after the first setting. The newest active Case Event should match that document.

Two future dates on one docket deserve a phone call. Write both down first. The case may simply hold two different event types. One date may have been displaced. Remember that Search ARCourts is not legal notice, and timing gaps can separate a court's decision from the filed order and the public portal data. Keep your case number handy when you call.

Circuit cases go through the Circuit Clerk or the assigned division. District matters belong to the De Queen Department. A party should also follow any direct notice from counsel or the court. An online absence never proves a hearing was canceled.

Sevier District Court Calendar Directory

Sevier County's documented District venue is the 36th Judicial District Court, De Queen Department. Judge Manya Wood sits for the court in Room 215 at 115 North Third Street. The court runs several docket types. So give staff both the event label and the case type when you ask them to confirm a time.

The official district-judge directory is where these office details are published.

A directory entry names the judicial office and nothing more. In any specific case, the citation, the filed notice, and the court's current instruction still control the date and whether you must appear.

Arraignment
A setting where a charge and plea or status are addressed.
Pretrial
A setting for preparation and unresolved issues before trial.
Bench trial
A trial decided by a judge without a jury.
Continuance
A move from an earlier setting to a later date.

What To Do If You Miss a Setting

Act fast. Pull up the Sevier County case in Search ARCourts. Scan for a new event, a failure-to-appear entry, an order, warrant information, or any other filed action. Then call the court listed on the case or citation. Give the clerk the case number, your name, the missed date, and the event type. Ask what the docket now shows and what direct instruction the court has issued.

Do not wait for the portal alone. A missed criminal or traffic setting can lead to a warrant, license action, added fines or costs, arrest, or a separate failure-to-appear case.

A phone call alone does not reset the setting or clear a consequence. Only the court can say what action is required. If counsel represents you, contact counsel too. In civil matters, a missed hearing can bring an order, a default, a dismissal, or another result, depending on the case and the judge.

Verify Sevier Calendar Details

One source is never enough for a final check. Confirm the case number, court, date, time, event label, room, location, and judge. Put Search ARCourts beside the most recent filed notice or order. Call about any mismatch. A broad calendar is useful context, but the case-specific instruction wins.

Older or restricted matters may not appear online at all. Visit the responsible clerk at 115 North Third Street. You can also mail a focused request for the docket entry or notice. Ask about inspection before ordering copies. For a public Circuit file, the clerk's two vault stations may surface an eligible image with no remote link.

A calendar view will not always surface the event. When it does not, a deeper lookup runs through the Sevier County case search by name or number.
